This is a group photo of the town’s football team. A recent initiative, this team is partially supported by the efforts of the Conception Bay Lightning football club, based in Newfoundland. They have donated used jerseys, cleats and balls for training as well as some financial support for the team’s registration. Obviously, football is huge in Ghana and represents a tangible and realistic way to succeed if one is good enough.
