I have the greatest respect for all teachers and am grateful in particular to those that have had a great impact upon me. There are many, from my school teachers, parents, siblings, friends, children, nature and life itself. But some deserve some special recognition on these pages. In some ways they are all connected. Each one has shown me things that I cherish, whether it be a rhythm, a life lesson or helping me realize something within myself. I wouldn't be who I am now if it were not for many of these individuals.
But I do believe the one greatest lesson that I have learned (or realized) is that no matter how great the teacher, from what background or pedigree, the greatest teacher one will ever have is yourself.
I acknowledge them here in the order in which they entered my life, starting with the 3 most significant.
